The second kind of fallacy of false premises, misleading terms, involves the manipulation of meanings and connotations of words in such a way that the hearer becomes more willing to accept the conclusion than if it came packaged in simpler or less carefully worded terms. The choice of words makes the argument "go down easily" because it capitalizes on the hearer's automatic responses to certain connotations.
