After two and one-half years, I thought I would search for music that might have inspired President Biden’s disastrous economic policies (even though he might not know an iPod from a Victrola).
It would seem that he got some of his inspiration from one of my favorites, Muddy Waters:
Song: Born With Nothing
I don’t want to be no millionaire;
To be a millionaire you have to do somebody wrong.
I can forgive Muddy, but shame on millionaire Joe Biden. He must really believe that “To be a millionaire you have to do somebody wrong.” Why else would he want to persecute and tax the rich?
He must have gotten his tax policy from The Beatles:
Song: Taxman
If you drive a car,
I'll tax the street.
If you drive to city,
I'll tax your seat.
If you get too cold,
I'll tax the heat.
If you take a walk,
I'll tax your feet.
Taxman!
'Cause I'm the taxman.
Yeah, I'm the taxman.
Don't ask me what I want it for,
(Uh-uh, Mr. Wilson.)
If you don't want to pay some more.
(Uh-uh, Mr. Heath.)
Maybe he should listen to Alvin Lee of Ten Years After:
Song: I'd Love to Change the World
Tax the rich, feed the poor
Till there are no rich no more?
Then what will he do? When we’re all poor, who will feed us?
