The Free Market Center envisions a world free from violent intervention in which people actually understand the nature of free markets.

The current political and intellectual environment encourages a constant attack on free markets. People seem to be attracted to the utopia offered by “democratic socialism.” As a justification for this position, they point out many of the failings of our current “capitalistic” economic system. Those failings, however, result from the socialistic policies introduced by government intervention.

Before people can compare socialism and capitalism, they must first have the capability to visualize a capitalistic system that arises as a natural outgrowth of genuinely free markets.
